The game’s translations are actually horrendous and makes up for some odd situation where you question what a character said or what occured.
Yet it is hard to initially figure out because of the lack of a tutorial. The gameplay loop is very simplistic, as the majority of the game is based of luck and no real skill. The good trait here is that only because someone reaches the area faster, it doesn’t mean they will be able to complete this quest per se. This, however, wasn’t a big problem most of the time, but at times it just dragged the game. This means that the players just have to roam around the area until anyone is lucky enough to get the right number. So when you don’t get the specific number you need, you still have to move but cannot complete it. When advancing with the quest from the king, the player has to land on that exact spot for it to trigger. This greatly disturbed my immersion and felt like a chore at some point, so it didn’t really help to my problem with blindly following the bot I played with. While I could look up the way before dicing, I couldn’t during making a move so I constantly had to check the map before taking action.
For each destination, there are multiple ways to advance and I found it a little bit annoying that you cannot move freely around the map at any time but have to select the map on the menu.
So, it literally works like a board game. When you’re lucky, you even get two dices in one turn. The players always have a quest to reach a certain destination and thus, each player dices a random number to move forward. gameplayĮverything is basically based on luck and the dice. Usually, I’m not into typical multiplayer games, but luckily, anything is more fun with friends, isn’t it? Story-wise, there isn’t a lot going on in Princess Maker Go!Go! Princess.

However, fans of this series will still find plenty of familiar content here, despite the different gameplay. This time, instead of being a singleplayer game, Princess Maker Go!Go! Princess is a multiplayer game and tries something new with this entry. Surprisingly, I found more joy during playing this game than I thought I would at first. Princess Maker Go!Go!
